kitt price: shiatsu in tottenham

I began practising Chi Kung in 2015, training with Adam Hellinger and Ole Eskildsen.

I graduated in Shiatsu Shin Tai from the British School of Shiatsu in 2017, and Zen Shiatsu from Shiatsu College London in 2020.

From 2018 to 2020 I worked at Gong Bodywork in Brixton. I also worked as a volunteer therapist at Stress Project in Holloway from 2019 to 2020.

In 2019 I completed a postgraduate module in Muscle Energy Techniques and Rhythmic Joint Mobilisation, also at the British School of Shiatsu.

In July 2020 I completed Introduction to Counselling Skills at the Minster Centre.

A combination of Chi Kung, Shiatsu Shin Tai, dream work and meditation has been transformative, enabling me to come to a place of sustained remission from insomnia and depression, to heal and build my relationships, and to make rewarding changes to my career and work.

I am committed to bodywork practice that is trans inclusive, and I welcome clients of all genders and orientations. My own gender identity is non-binary and I prefer to be referred to as “they” rather than “she” or “he”. For example: “They offer shiatsu treatments in Tottenham.”

I am also committed to making bodywork more accessible and enjoyable for larger bodied people.

Holistic wellbeing services can be very white dominated, and I appreciate that Black, Indigenous and People of Colour may prefer a non-white practitioner. I can recommend of practitioners of colour who have taught me / who I have trained with.

I am a member of the Shiatsu Society and am fully insured with Balens.
